So what is a WheelRacer?

Technically the vehicle uses a gyroscope controlled, center of mass shift, to propel and stabilize the vehicle. In addition, it has a shock absorber travel distance of over 2 meters making it almost crash proof on rough terrain.

The driving experience is awesome and the vehicle can reach 100mph and boasts an automatic gear box. The engine sound is simply amazing and will warm the heart of any "petrol-head".

Random game obstacles - concrete blocks and jump forward/back flags. These are placed along the race track and are never in the same location from race to race which means the track can't become predictable, you never know what to expect.

Run for the Roses simulates a day of observing and wagering on thoroughbred race horses at Americas premier racing venue. Each race day is composed of 12 races of 7 to 12 horses competing in races ranging from 6 furlongs to 1-1/8 miles in length.
This simulation includes 300 different horses and 20 different jockeys, each with distinct racing histories that shape their odds and on-track behaviors. There is a wealth of critical racing data available in the in-game racing form - just as in the real racing form.
Run for the Roses uses a complex set of algorithms, based on the racing form data, to carefully link a horse's current performance with her past performance, and the data in the racing form. Of course, as in real life, there are random events within each race that ensure that the favorite doesnt always win.
Information, such as each horses position, lengths back from the leader and elapsed time is stored and used in future race days to accurately depict each horses past performance. So what you see occur in todays races will influence future races, just as in real life. By carefully analyzing each horses recent race performances (last 5 races shown), jockeys performance, jockeys weight, track conditions, etc., the experienced handicapper will increase his or her odds of winning. New handicapping formulas can be safely tested in the simulation prior to taking them to the racetrack.
But no handicapping experience is required to enjoy Run for the Roses. The less experienced handicapper, or more casual wagerer, may simply start the simulation and place wagers just as he or she might at a real racetrack based on the horse's color, name, jockey or recent racing record and without the risk of losing hard-earned cash!
